Hey there everybody -
This is just to prove to you that I am indeed an Avon representative:
I suffer with very bad anxiety issues, diagnosed by my Dr and a few therapists. The income I recieve per month, and is subject to change as this information has last been updated in 2022, is PIP and Universal Credit. Some months I receive a little from my Avon business, but not a lot at all! Which is why I'm trying everything to get myself out there!
People ask why don't I just get a full time job? I wish I could, my income would be much more, if I 'just got a full time job'.
I am trying to come off of benefits though. If I manage to make a living with Avon, my Universal Credit will slowly be reduced when I start earning around £300 a month, until it stops.
You can help me get off of benefit, by buying some Avon if you like anything in my online shop, if you believe no mentally ill person should be on benefits.
I have posted through most doors in Hailsham and Hellingly area ~ and to date have not received any further customers from this effort.
Every month I spent around £10 on the magazines and business cards all together.
I was spending an additional £14 to travel to Hailsham Town and back to pop them in a place, however now I luckily have a companion bus pass for my illness.
I usually paid £10 a shop to keep my things in as advertisement.
I started leaving business cards in individual hair dressers once a month, and certain shops. Most of the time paying them £10 each as it is advertisment in a business.
The most active things that I post on are:
1 The apps I made.
I created an android app and uploaded it to the Google Play store, this costed me a one off payment of around £20 for a Google Play developer account, which was well worth it because it is a one time payment for a lifetime of being able to upload apps, and I paid an additional amount to an app developer to make my app.
You can however have your website show inside an app for free online. I may have deleted this from Google Play store as I have changed my landing page for my website, located at www.prettyus.co.uk.
This is what my Andriod app looked like on the Google Play store:
Update, you can create a free app by following the steps in this tutorial found here.
Also, I created an IOS app which may not be on the Apple app store anymore when you read this, as it costs around £80 per year to keep an Apple developer account.
Also I paid an additional amount to have the app created and uploaded on my behalf, as technical things have to be done on xcode, which wasn't as cheap as paying for an android app to be created, and I can upload the android app by myself as technical things don't have to be done on my Google developer account for the app to be uploaded.
This is what my Apple app looked like on the Apple app store:
Update, you can create a free app by following the steps in my tutorial found
here. However with IOS you need to know what you're doing. Select the IOS package instead of android.
2 I created 2 Facebook pages, 2 Facebook groups and 2 Facebook group chats.
I continue to keep all of these things updated!
Things that I rarely post on but have still quite a lot of posts of my Avon, are on every other social platform I can think of including Facebook buy and sell groups.
I continue to create other things in hopes to start earning a proper income.
I have lost £400 of money to date.
Most small businesses start off this way, so I am remaining hopeful!
In total I've earnt around £100 with Avon, added onto the money lost, I will update this every £100 I earn, so I really need to get myself out there online for this to work now, without spending anymore money.
Below are places where I've left my advertisement.
1. The cut above ~ Hailsham
Back in 2015, these lovelies probably don't remember, but they done my hair and makeup for my prom! I felt like a beautiful queen! Everyone that works there are SO kind hearted and talented and I highly recommend them as a place to get your hair and makeup sorted!
2. AnNam ~ Hailsham This was the first time I'd even noticed this nail salon. What a friendly, family environment. Everyone had smiles on their faces, and you can see that they leave everything top notch hygienic. I'll definitely go here to get my nails done!
3. Costcutter ~ Hailsham
A massive thank you to Costcutter! As we only shopped for two packets of crisps, I had already used my last tenner on the Nail salon. I forgot to put my business cards in there as well. So I put them in Costcutter! I use to shop for cheap wine here before moving to Hellingly and getting most things delivered, usually 2 for £7.50 and enough to get you very happy drunk! Up to 13% alcohol in each bottle!
4. Mind - Hailsham
A beautiful charity shop, that funds for a better mental state.. Beautiful company. These beauties accepted two of my books, even though I had no money to offer any shop this month.
I also went to around 50 houses today to post my cards and magazines. I am abosutely exhausted, but I deserve a big pat on the back ❤️
Thank you for scrolling so far. Now enjoy some pictures taken by me, of my work 🥰 Thank you for supporting me lovelies!
